Il rivestimento si può depositare su tutti i metalli ad eccezione del Magnesio e Titanio. A causa della bassa temperatura di processo inferiore a 60 °C non avvengono modifiche nella struttura del materiale e questo vantaggio assicura il mantenimento della forma e del trattamento termico dei particolari rivestiti. Vantaggi del rivestimento Duralloy Durezza e protezione all‘usura Il rivestimento Duralloy consiste al 99% di puro Cromo. Il rive- stimento DURALLOY ® è una superficie di cromo estremamen- te dura di ca. 1200 HV esaminato con un carico di 2.800 MPa (MegaPascal) sotto condizioni di EHD (Elasto-HydroDynamic). Aderenza Il legame dello strato di DURALLOY ® al substrato è di natura molecolare. E' praticamente impossibile che il rivestimento possa staccarsi dal materiale base. Tribologia La struttura particolare dello strato di DURALLOY ® crea una convergenza geometrica che rende possibile nella Macro struttura il deposito di olio La geometria specifica dello stra- to di DURALLOY ® , ha un effetto positivo per la realizzazione della pressione dell’olio. La formazione di sacche attraverso la struttura sferoidale forma un Deposito di oli attraverso la macrostruttura. Protezione alla corrosione La struttura del rivestimento DURALLOY ® , protegge il materi- ale di base contro i processi corrosivi chimici e meccanici. Corrosion protection for combined bearings: Duralloy ® -coating The Duralloy ® -coating The Duralloy ® -coating is an extremly hard, precise, very thin and ultrapure metallic chromium layer, which is characterized by an excellent adhesive. The plating can be deposited on all types of metals, except Magnesium and Titanium. Due to the low process temperature of under 60 °C no changes to the structure of the base material occur during plating, this essiential advantage of the process ensures shape and hard- ness stability for any manufactures components. Advantages of the Duralloy ® -coating: Hardness/Wear protection The Duralloy ® surface consist of at least 99 % pure chrome. The plating hardness is approximatly 1200 HV and the over- run load under EHD-conditions reaches around 2.800 Mpa. Adherence The bonding from the Duralloy ® surface on the substrate is from molecular nature. It is nearly impossible that the coating peels away from the ground material. Tribology/low friction coefficient The special structure of the DURALLOY ® surface forms a con- verging gap geometry and enables the creation of pockets of lubricant. The lubricant pockets also form an oil reservoir for extreme conditions as for example where there is starved lubrication. Furthermore the special structure contributes the reduction of the friction coefficient considerable. Protection against corrosion The special structure of Duralloy ® protects the ground mate- rial against chemical and mechanical corrosion.
